ReliaSquatch started during a power quality trip to a cryptocurrency data center in upstate New York. The founder, Howard W Penrose, commented in a LinkedIn post on the drive through the Adirondak Mountains that: ‘Trying to find a great reliability program is like trying to find sasquatch. Everyone has heard of one, but no one can find it.’ A follower posted a comment as an AI generated image of Howard driving his pickup truck with wind turbines in the background and ReliaSquatch was born.
